CASC Attends CAAC-ACP Civil Aviation Big Data Symposium

Beijing, Nov. 29, 2018 –Assistant President of CAS, Chairman and GM of CASC Tan Kejian attended the CAAC-ACP Civil Aviation Big Data Symposium and delivered keynote speeches on the theme of “Intelligent CASC – SmartAir Digitalized Aircraft Service Platform”. Heads from CAAC, U.S. Embassy Beijing, and other 41 airliners, OEMs and relevant companies attended this conference.

Tan Kejian stated that giving the credit to the rapid development of Big Data, the business of aviation supplies support services would enter the new era of “Internet Plus Pooling of Aviation Supplies”. CASC would collaborate among CAAC, airliners, software and hardware OEMs at home and abroad to develop Big Data application in civil aviation, to help aviation safety management improve performance and airliners’ flying quality and operational efficiency.

Tian Zhencai said that, CAAC firmly supported CASC to implement and complete the “Front cabin + Back cabin” project. With the guidance and help of CAAC, the “Onboard Interconnection Service”, developed by CASC and FTS Technologies Co., LTD., would actively contribute to national aviation safety, airliners supplies budget, flights operational efficiency and service quality improvement.

ACP was established in 2004. Working closely with the CAAC, airlines, airports, and other Chinese aviation stakeholders, ACP’s assistance is directed toward the country’s highest priority activities, involving safety, efficiency, and capacity in civil aviation.
