Beijing, May 17, 2019 – On May 16th – 17th, the 10th China Civil Aviation Development Forum (CCADF) was held in Beijing with the theme “Intelligent Civil Aviation – High-quality Development of Civil Aviation in a New Scientific, Technological and Industrial Revolution”. The heads of CAS attended the forum.
Chairman Jia Baojun delivered a speech on the banquet. He said that CAS, as one of China’s three major aviation supplies groups, would follow the blueprint of “intelligent civil aviation” to advance in-depth cooperation with industry partners. CAS would play an active role in building “intelligent civil aviation” and make greater contributions.
President and CEO Yang Xiaoming delivered a speech named “To Build a Platform of Smart Aviation Supplies System Based on Internet and Information Technology”. He introduced CAS’s thoughts and acts in the process of building intelligent civil aviation. It was underlined in the speech that CAS was committed to developing a high-quality aviation supplies support system. The idea of innovation and openness was inside CAS. It would start from supply-side structural adjustment within IT support aid, to build an industry-wide and win-win cooperation platform. He announced that, from June 19 to 21, CAS would hold a meeting in Nantong to start the establishment of the mutual aid alliance.
Leaders of CAS met and exchanged views with the heads from ICAO, Boeing, French Embassy in China, and domestic and foreign airports, airlines, and aviation maintenance companies.
CCADF is approved by the State Council, hosted by CAAC and organized by the Civil Aviation Management Institute of China.
